Lloyd Larson (Composer/Editor/Conductor & Pianist - Minneapolis, MN)
"Kevin Boesiger is a true church musician at heart! By that I mean he has discovered the balance between striving for musical excellence in the worship of our God while at the same time reflecting the attitude of a true servant! I have had the privilege of being in Kevin's church, Christ Community Church in Beatrice, Nebraska, where he has served as Creative Arts Pastor for well over 20 years. His powerful and creative approach to music and worship there is exceeded only by the strong relationships he has established with the musicians in his church and community as well as his obvious commitment to Christ. I have also witnessed his exceptional piano abilities as well as his creative composing and arranging gifts. His command of these skills further enhances his ministry impact in churches all across the country who have discovered and embraced his music for their own ministries. The musical gifts of Kevin Boesiger come from a deeply rooted personal faith. And these will enable any church to more richly embrace the very heart of God."
Mark Hayes (Composer/Conductor & Pianist - Kansas City, MO)
"I had the pleasure of teaching Kevin Boesiger years ago as a composition student. He came eager to learn and that enthusiasm and dedication has certainly paid off. I'm proud to present Kevin's published anthems now at choral reading sessions across the country. He's innovative and creative... one of the fresh new voices in choral writing. I expect great things from him in the future."
Ronald Cadmus (Author, Still, In One Peace - Manchester, NJ)
"I had the opportunity, as a guest preacher, to hear an organ mediation by the resident Minister of Music. The beauty of it touched deep chords within my spirit and heart. Following worship I asked the organist, "What was the name of the provocative and stirring setting of your meditation. I was told, "Quiet Devotion" by Kevin Boesiger. Realizing I was touched by the composition, she offered me a copy of it. It appeared in a book of piano meditations by Kevin. I played it all week at home and found myself further drawn by its simple harmony and mood. I went to my computer and found Kevin's contact and wrote to let him know how touched I was by the work. I also asked if he would be willing to give me permission to collaborate with him on an adaptation of the composition, using my lyrics. We received permission from Lorenz Publishers, which holds the copyright for the work. Thus began my collaborative relationship with Kevin Boesiger. A collaborative relationship that is more than just about the discipline of composing and writing. Kevin and I have begun a journey of deep faith sharing - a soulful journey into a profound sense of worship, praise and adoration in a personal journey as well as in our pathway of leading congregations into deeper moments of praise, adoration, celebration and joy. Behind ever composition that Kevin places on the staff, I see the imprint of the Spirit's speaking to his heart. He takes me through that process of his relationship to God, his love of Christ, and his joy and dedication in making his soul evident in the music and harmonies he creates. And in the process, as a writer, he has challenged me to bring from the wellsprings of the deep songs within my own soul, words that attempt to match the beauty and stirring nature of his music. What a joy it is to know Kevin and to walk the journey of faith with him, singing together along the way. Listen to his music. You will feel the same way as Kevin plants all these melodies in people's hearts."
Kelly Meyer (Choral Director - Beatrice High School, NE)
"Kevin was incredibly easy to work with. We were able to make our arrangements work for our kids to perform with confidence. I will continue to use his arrangements and would highly recommend him."
Carey Helmink (Choral Director - Lincoln Berean Church, NE)
"Kevin arranged the hymn 'I Have Decided to Follow Jesus' for my traveling youth choir last summer. It was a beautiful arrangement that was challenging enough to be interesting but still accessible to high school students. We have also used the piece with our adult choir. He did the arrangement in a timely manner and the copy was complete with separate scores for singers, pianist and cellist. I would definitely use his services again!"
